Collocation of original embroidery pictures
1. Each piece of finished embroidery should be cleaned separately. It is not allowed to wash together with several finished embroidery products, other clothes or textiles, so as to avoid color fading and dyeing.
2. Rinse the finished embroidery with warm cold water and mild detergent. Do not use sweater cleaner, strong or irritant detergent and chlorinated detergent (bleach).
3. After rinsing, only use water to rinse several times until the cleaning solution is washed off; if slight discoloration is found during the washing process, it is a normal phenomenon and there is no need to worry.
4. After washing and drying, two clean towels can be used to clamp the finished embroidery products among them, gently roll and press to absorb the moisture on the finished embroidery products, then unfold the towel and take out the finished embroidery products and lay them flat. Do not overlap the wet embroidery pieces.
5. Similarly, clip the finished embroidery (face down) with two clean towels, and gently iron the wrinkles on the finished product with an iron. Pay attention here not to set the temperature too high, and the iron with steam will be ideal.
6. It is not recommended to use oil and water repellent agents for fabrics, suede, leather, etc., or other similar products to treat finished embroidery products, because it may cause chemical reaction with embroidery thread.
7. Dry cleaning is not recommended for finished embroidery, but individual materials may require dry cleaning. If you need dry cleaning, it is suggested that you should consult the staff in the regular dry cleaning shop nearby, and inform them that the finished embroidery products may react with some chemical cleaners (such as benzene, trichloroethylene, etc.).
Maintenance of original embroidery
1. After washing, iron it with steam iron. When ironing, spread a piece of cloth on the table. The embroidered surface of cross stitch is reversed and the back is upward. If there is another layer of light cloth on the top, the ironing effect will be better. Pay attention not to set the temperature too high to prevent the cloth from being ironed out.
2. After ironing, if you don't frame it temporarily, put it in a book or other flat place, so that the work will not be disordered or stained again.
3. It's better to mount it as soon as possible, or it's a pity to get damp. There are many places selling cross stitch can be mounted, and relatively professional. There are also many places where paintings can be mounted. Maintenance up, as long as sunscreen moisture can!
