How to raise puppies
"Puppies" refer to puppies about 45 days from birth to weaning. Most puppies are very weak during lactation, so they need more care and proper care. Secondly, we should be careful in eating milk and supplementing milk. Newborn dogs have not yet produced antibodies, at this time, the mother dog is a large number of secretions rich in a variety of antibodies of breast milk, so let the newborn dog eat enough colostrum. Small dog is a little bigger, when the supply of breast milk is insufficient, it needs to be properly supplemented. At this time, avoid feeding milk, because the dog's gastrointestinal function is very poor, and milk is very easy to cause diarrhea.
It is better to use special dog milk powder. Skim milk or high calcium skimmed milk powder can be used to reduce the cost. After boiling and disinfecting, feeding with bottle, the temperature should be about 27. The amount of milk supplement generally does not need to be deliberately limited, when to feed until full. After 25 days old, try to add broth and porridge. In order to avoid conflict and individual dysplasia, we should fix the nipples of each baby, so that they can eat their own milk and live in peace.
Thirdly, we should take care of and be meticulous in daily management. 5 days after birth, you can take advantage of the good weather of warm weather and take them outdoors to bask in the sun with the mother dog, twice a day, half an hour is the best. In this way, the puppies can breathe fresh air, and use the ultraviolet rays in the sun to kill the bacteria on their bodies. It is also conducive to the dry pine of the coat and accelerate its growth. They should take a bath with a soft cloth every two days, and try to clean the dog's body with water at a temperature of 25 ℃ every two days. After taking a bath, you can trim the toenails for the pups to avoid scratching the breast and other puppies when suckling. When the puppies have a certain amount of physical strength and energy, they can be guided to play outdoors, but to prevent each other from biting and fighting.
Finally, the owner had better make a record every day, observe carefully, treat different puppies differently, and take emergency measures in case of discomfort.
