Can clothes be washed clean if they are stained with latex paint

When painting a room, you will get latex paint on clothes by accident. How to clean latex paint stains? Let's follow Xiaobian to see how latex paint gets on clothes.

Latex is a synthetic resin. In addition to nylon silk and the like, it has a bonding effect on most fiber quality materials, so it can be firmly adhered to clothes. At the same time, it has another characteristic, that is, it can be dissolved in a variety of solutions. Some water-soluble paint (soluble in water) can be removed by washing clothes with water if they are accidentally touched.

If you can't wash it with water, you can use 60 ℃ liquor or mix alcohol and water (the ratio is about the same). Soak the latex paint stains on clothes with wine or mixture. After soaking for half an hour, scrub with water until the paint stains are cleaned. Finally, rinse with water.

Tips:

1. Use kitchen paper towel to remove residual latex paint as much as possible.

2. Dip a white cloth in water and tap the back of the stain.

3. Wash the stains on the clothes thoroughly with water.

4. If the stain is still there, apply some detergent with enzyme on both sides of the stain, then put it into the washing machine, pour the detergent with enzyme, and wash it with the highest water temperature that the clothes can bear.

5. After the paint is dry, apply a layer of Vaseline on it and wash it with ordinary detergent in a few minutes. (you can also apply cooling oil without Vaseline because it contains Vaseline).

6. Emulsion paint is a kind of paint with water as the main raw material and adding a small amount of bactericide, mildew inhibitor and defoamer. It is more durable and firm than ordinary paint, and it is not easy to fade or mold. If the clothes accidentally stick to the latex paint, first, use kitchen paper towel to absorb the residual latex paint as much as possible, then add 1 tbsp of detergent without bleaching agent into 1 cup of warm water, and then soak the spots with latex paint stains in the above diluted detergent, and rub them gently from the back of the stains, so as to remove the latex paint.
